The Capital and Pacific AudioFest Team Announce Southwest Audio Fest!

Dallas, Texas show debuts March 15-17th 2024

Capital and Pacific AudioFest show producers Gary Gill and Lou Hinkley today announced the SouthWest Audio Fest, a new Dallas, Texas based audio festival, set to debut March 15-17th, 2024 at the famous Hilton/Anatole Hotel.

The promoting pair say the hotel is booked, the weather is perfect, and the venue has plenty of room to expand. There are thousands of parking spaces, easy load in (for the presenters), great bars and restaurants, more than fifty meeting rooms and more.

The venue is minutes from downtown Dallas with easy access to and from Love Field and DFW airports. "With over 17 million people and exceptional wealth in this corner of Texas there are plenty of audio lovers to fill a show of this caliber", the press release avers.

This means America now has shows on the east coast, the west coast, mid-America and the southwest. How this new show and AXPONA set for April 12-14th will affect each other remains to be seen.

Show Schedule:

Friday March 15        10AM - 6PM

Saturday March 16  10AM - 6PM

Sunday March 17     10AM - 4PM

Seminars daily with live music in the evenings

Local Wine, Beer  and Spirit Tastings

Hi-Fi Marketplace, Vinyl Record Row

Personal Hi-Fi Head Zone  and of course dozens of listening rooms from start-up and cutting-edge technologies to cost-no-object aspirational gear, and everything in between.

Good luck this close to AXPONA (the current Top Dog Show and second place ain't close!)- given the current conomy headwinds hard to see how this show gets any traction - we passed Peak Audio Shows in North America a few Shows ago.

I agree the economy is bad and audio equipment is not moving- BUT, this team put on a great show and are incredibly professional and helpful. I hope they kill it!
